Interior Designer

Full-time

We are currently seeking an interior designer with the following qualifications:

  • Ability to work well in a team environment and manage daily tasks
  • Interacts well with other disciplines and clients
  • Strong communication skills required to demonstrate design ideas and direction, both verbally and graphically
  • Ability to work on multiple projects quickly and simultaneously while maintaining quality and customer service
  • Strong computer skills. Ability to self-learn design programs such as 20/20, Revit and Envisioneer

Common projects include design and finish selection for residential renovations, light commercial spaces and custom cabinet projects. Work includes:

  • Work with client to develop space plans, cabinet layouts, and finish selections
  • Coordinate and communicate with client, cabinet shop, contractor and sub-contractors to develop and finalize designs
  • Develop conceptual and permit drawings for client and contractor
  • Develop shop drawings for custom cabinet shop
  • Calculate quotes and final pricing for cabinetry
  • Specify and order pre-fabricated cabinetry and various materials needed for cabinetry
  • Research materials and specification options
  • Write design contracts
  • Refine and develop processes to clarify and streamline information

Lead Carpenter

We are currently seeking a lead carpenter with the following qualifications/abilities:

  • Dependable, strong work ethic
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 5+ years of construction experience
  • Knowledge of current practices, materials, tools, and equipment used in carpentry and building
  • Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical systems
  • Experience with reading plans and layout of job structures
  • Demonstrates safe lifting and moving of tools and materials (70+ lbs)
  • Works safely and comfortably on ladders and roofs
  • Accurately estimates needed job materials

Typical duties:

  • Lead small group of workers
  • Perform complex rough and finish carpentry work related to the construction, maintenance, alteration and repair of building components and structures
  • Determine most efficient work procedures and techniques for assigned staff
  • Ensure timely completion of projects
  • Makes sure that safety standards and procedures are followed
  • Provides supervisor with updates on project status
  • On-site duties may include (but are not limited to): building and setting forms for concrete construction, erecting sheathing for walls and roofs, applying building wrap and siding, installation of locks and other hardware

Carpenter’s Helper

We are currently seeking a carpenter’s helper with the following qualifications:

  • 1 year construction experience
  • Skills in using hand and power tools
  • Demonstrate safe lifting and moving of tools and materials (70+ lbs)
  • Works safely and comfortably on ladders and roofs
  • Applicants must be highly motivated and show ability to self-manage. We are willing to train a candidate with the right attitude the needed skills.

Typical duties will be to assist with all areas of construction projects including (but not limited to):

  • Utilizing hand and power tools to repair, install, or erect structures and fixtures
  • Constructing building frameworks
  • Measuring and cutting materials
  • Joining materials with nails, screws, or adhesives
  • Establishment of reference points and lines, keeping job sites clean, gathering materials
  • Other related task as needed
